DIRECT MAIL WITH BUILT IN RESPONSE DRIVE
Customer wanted a self-mailer with variable imaging on 2 sides (duplex). The goal was to receive a high level of return. Since there was confidential information that needed to be filled in, a self-sealing envelope was created within the piece.

After the job was printed, it went through a folding machine and 2 strips of glue were applied to create the “envelope” and a strip of re-moistenable glue was applied to seal the piece. The self-mailer is then imaged, perforated and folded to the final size and taken directly to the USPS for mailing. Three steps were eliminated. No envelope, no inserting and no handling to send this piece to a mail house for sorting, qualifying and mailing. The data was already programmed to save these steps.
The end result is a very successful direct mail campaign with the responses that were coded per individual and returned in a postage paid carrier. The customer was pleased with the high response rate.
